Band 5 Developmental post, potential for a Band 6 if successful within the role after 12 months
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Education Facilitator (manual Handling adviser) to join East Cheshire NHS Trusts Manual handling team, this role will focus on the operational delivery of the manual handling service, including managing junior team members, Facilitating manual handling training and educating staff in relation to safe manual handling across all disciplines within both the acute, community and specialist service provision. The role will also support other clinical skills based training within the successful applicant’s scope of competence.
The Clinical Education Facilitator (manual Handling adviser ) will support the delivery of patient care in a variety of clinical settings ,this includes giving advice on complex cases, patient safety and equipment, involving multidisciplinary working with a variety of internal and external staff and care givers,
The role also involves supporting our staff by conducting workplace manual handling assessments, audits and investigations, risk assessments, reports and recommendations to reduce manual handling hazards and risks within the workplace. To ensure the service meets the required policy and legislative requirements
